After reading through the available services, contact us to start developing your custom program.

Program Benefits

  • Identify gaps within your Food Safety Program
  • Find the deficiencies of your program on your terms, rather than an inspectors terms.
  • Enact a world-class recall response plan
  • Review your insurance coverages before they're needed
  • Meet with legal experts to learn and mitigate your liabilities
  • Improve your Environmental Monitoring and Sanitation Programs to operate cleaner and safer than ever before
Emergency Contamination Response Plan

Contamination control experts come on-site to determine a plan of action in case of a microbial contamination. The facility would be evaluated and broken down into sections based on a microbial risk assessment performed with facility management. Planning ahead reduces downtime and allows you to quickly get back up into production after a contamination.Scenarios, timelines, and costs will be developed such that everything is in place in the event that an emergency decontamination is required.

Routine Preventive Decontamination

Traditional sanitation methods have difficulty truly eliminating pathogens from hard-to-reach areas. Supplementing your routine sanitation program with a high-level decontamination method can eliminate the pathogens within niches and harborage sites to provide a cleaner and safer environment than ever before. A schedule will be worked out based on production schedules, environmental monitoring data, and overall risk levels and carried out to further reduce the risk of microbial contamination on Zone 1 surfaces and products themselves.

Comprehensive Food Safety Program Review

An outsider’s perspective on your current Food Safety Program will shed insight on possible issues that are currently being overlooked. This gap assessment consists of a document review and an onsite inspection of the facility to identify potential areas of improvement.

The Document Review includes:

Checkbox

  • Training records
  • Pest Control logs
  • HACCP Records
  • Sanitation Procedure and Logs
  • Environmental Monitoring Program and Results
  • Raw and Finished Testing Program and Results
  • Recall Program

The Onsite Activities include:

Environmental Monitoring Program Assessment

Battle complacency within your Environmental Monitoring program by enabling experts to analyze your current program. This will include a review of sampling procedures and locations, and include a challenge of your laboratory. Learn about new tools, techniques, strategies, and what others in the industry are doing to successfully find the problem areas within their facility. This service is available as part of the "Comprehensive Food Safety Program Review" as noted above or as a separate service if the full review is not requested.

Recall Plan Review and Management

Our experts have helped clients through recalls by handling public relations, managing the recall efforts, and acting as a liaison with the government. Learn what you need to have established in case of a recall, so you can react quickly and efficiently while managing your liabilities.

Mock Inspections

Conducting a mock inspection can help find any deficiencies at your facility before an inspector does. This service enables you to address and correct any issues found with more time, less stress, and less consequences. Mock Inspections can be held for FDA, FSIS, or OSHA standards and regulations.

Laboratory Validation

Confirming results with an outside lab can instill confidence in your program and ensure you can trust the results you’re getting from environmental swabs and product testing. Services can include:

  • FDA Detention Sampling
  • Microbiology Testing
  • Food Chemistry Solutions
  • Food Safety Solutions
  • Food Contaminant, Pesticide and Residue Analysis
  • Risk Assessments
  • Challenge Studies and Process Validations
  • Vendor Quality Verification Programs
  • Raw Material Qualification/Food Chemicals Codex Analysis
  • Listeria Detection
Insurance Review

It is important to periodically review your current insurance coverages to verify that the policies you have are adequately covering your risks. In the event of a food recall, any or all of a company’s insurance policies can become activated. It becomes important to evaluate the entire insurance portfolio in order to ensure that all liabilities are covered, reviewing everything from policy limits to endorsements and exclusions. One of the most important aspects of a review would be of your product contamination (“food recall”) insurance, making sure it covers “voluntary” recall, and will reimburse for recall, replacement, business interruption, and crisis consultant costs.
